After graduation, Brian worked in a private practice in Cuyahoga Falls serving the LGBTQIA+ population as well as clients struggling with trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem issues. In addition to counseling, Brian is an adjunct professor and teaches psychology at Malone University, his alma mater.
Brian’s counseling approach is holistic and eclectic focusing on meeting clients where they are and mapping out a path forward. Brian often uses behavioral techniques; psychoeducation; and exploration of relationships, emotions, and cognitions. Brian is imminently approachable and willing to listen.
His strengths include kindness, wit, compassion, creativity, empathy, advocacy, and a depth of experience in dealing with people in some of their most difficult moments.
