Katie Brown, SHRM-CP

Katie Brown joined Wellness Grove in August 2026 as Human Resources Manager, bringing more than 20 years of progressive human resources leadership experience across healthcare, education, professional services, consulting, retail, and nonprofit organizations. A SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), Katie brings extensive expertise in people operations, employee relations, talent management, organizational development, compliance, workforce planning, total rewards, and HR technology.

Throughout her career, Katie has partnered with executives and organizational leaders to strengthen workplace culture, modernize HR systems, develop workforce strategies, and build high-performing teams. Her leadership experience includes directing HR operations within multi-state organizations and healthcare systems, with responsibility for employee and labor relations, talent acquisition, compliance, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.

At Wellness Grove, Katie plays a pivotal role in strengthening the structure, effectiveness, and continuity of Human Resources. Working in partnership with the Director of Human Resources, she supports critical functions across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, staff engagement, training, HR systems, and process improvement. She also contributes to departmental continuity and succession planning as Wellness Grove continues to grow.

Katie’s academic foundation includes studies in Human Resources Management and an Associate degree in Visual Communications and Marketing, complementing her extensive HR experience with a strong foundation in communication, organizational strategy, and creative problem-solving.

Katie’s leadership is guided by the belief that strong organizations are built by investing in and supporting the people who carry out their mission. Through strong HR infrastructure, thoughtful employee support, consistent practices, and strategic workforce development, she helps cultivate an environment where employees can thrive, leaders are equipped to lead, and Wellness Grove can sustainably advance its mission of transforming mental health and wellness care.
