The Community Committee Representative plays a key role in enhancing awareness of mental health services, fostering community partnerships, and facilitating connections between individuals and organizations with Wellness Grove’s resources, while advancing the organization’s mission of improving mental health and wellness throughout the community.
Sarah Nutter (pronouns: she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adolescents and adults. Her clinical interests include girls’ and women’s issues, life transitions, gender issues, sexual identity, and family systems. She integrates creativity and positive psychology into individualized, evidence-based treatment approaches that support personal growth and resilience.
Sarah values community events and volunteering because they provide meaningful opportunities to connect with others outside of the clinical setting and build relationships within the community that we aim to serve. She enjoys being able to learn from others’ experiences, establish connections, and help create supportive spaces where people feel seen and valued. Sarah also hopes to use these opportunities to raise awareness about the importance of mental health care and encourage conversations to challenge the stigma around seeking support.
