Kyra Horvat serves as a graduate intern at Wellness Grove, where she supports the delivery of intuitive, client-centered mental health services through a broad range of engagement, research, and community-based initiatives. Currently pursuing her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at University of Akron, Kyra brings a thoughtful and compassionate approach to her work, rooted in both her academic background and her passion for mental health advocacy.
During her internship at Wellness Grove, Kyra has supported clinical operations through resource collection, psychoeducational development, administrative assistance, and community engagement. She actively participates in Clinical Leadership Team meetings and also contributes to a wide range of unique tasks that further the clinical work of Wellness Grove. Drawing on her background in psychology, sociology, customer service, and office coordination, Kyra communicates effectively, anticipates needs, and contributes meaningfully across departments. Her commitment to fostering inclusive, client-centered spaces is evident in every aspect of her work, from research to outreach.
