A counselor trainee (CT) is a graduate counseling student seeking licensure as a professional counselor. Counselor Trainees have the same scope of practice as a professional counselor, but require much closer supervision during the training process.
Marcus Romeo (pronouns: he/him) is a counselor trainee who works with adolescents and adults. His specialty interests include: adolescent issues, anxiety, body image, boys and men’s issues, communication and conflict resolution, coping skills, self-esteem, and strengths. Prior to private practice, Marcus has years of experience serving in a variety of community-based behavioral healthcare settings.
Among his experiences are working as a case manager for adolescents in a residential treatment facility, and being a group life supervisor for adolescents at a shelter.
