A licensed social worker (LSW) is a mental health provider who holds a master’s or doctoral degree in social work and who has met all requirements set forth by the state licensure board to provide quality mental health care.
Nadeh Alomari (pronouns: she/her) is a licensed social work who works with children, adults, couples, and families. Her specialty interests include: addiction, anxiety, depression, intimate partner violence, parenting issues, relationship issues, trauma, and the integration of creativity into counseling. She utilizes treatment approaches that are evidence-based and uniquely tailored to each client.
Nadeh earned a master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University in developmental psychology with a certification in early childhood intervention. She also attended The University of Akron for her second master’s degree in social work. Nadeh earned a dual bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology and sociology, with a concentration in family studies, from Walsh University.
Before joining Wellness Grove, Nadeh has interned with places like the Cuyahoga Board of Developmental Disabilities doing home visits and Epicenter Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
Nadeh’s approach to counseling includes meeting clients where they are on their personal wellness journeys. Her philosophy consists of love, kindness, general understanding and listening, and empathy towards others. She carries these ideas in her work life and believes that everyone deserves to be treated with respect.
Her strengths include: tenacity, compassion, a creative outlook, and a great desire to learn and improve.
