Working Hours

A counselor trainee (CT) is a graduate counseling student seeking licensure as a professional counselor. Counselor Trainees have the same scope of practice as a professional counselor, but require much closer supervision during the training process.

Trinity Klock (pronouns: she/her) is a counselor trainee who works with adults, couples, and families. Her specialty interests include: anxiety, women’s mental health, athletes and performance concerns, life transitions, relationships, and trauma-informed care. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that is tailored to each client’s unique experiences and goals.

Trinity completed her advanced education at Georgetown College, earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in sociology. She is currently a master’s student at John Carroll University completing a degree in clinical mental health counseling. Her advanced coursework includes multicultural counseling, diagnosis, ethics, and evidence-based treatment approaches. She is committed to lifelong learning and continually seeks opportunities to expand her clinical knowledge and counseling skills.

Prior to joining Wellness Grove, Trinity worked as a habilitation technician where she gained experience supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community-based settings. She works closely with clients to promote independence and provide individualized support based on each person’s unique needs and goals. This experience has strengthened her ability to build meaningful helping relationships with individuals with special needs while reinforcing her commitment to providing compassionate, person-centered care.

Trinity’s counseling approach is primarily person-centered, emphasizing empathy and the importance of creating a safe, collaborative therapeutic relationship. She is particularly interested in integrating evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT. She enjoys incorporating psychoeducation and appropriate humor into sessions to help clients better understand themselves, develop practical coping skills, and feel more at ease throughout the counseling process.

Her strengths include resilience, empathy, love of learning, social intelligence, and the ability to build meaningful, trusting relationships with others.
