Anger is a universal reaction, as well as a secondary emotion that we’ve learned to use for the protection of initial feelings such as disappointment, hurt, and anxiety. For some individuals, acting out on feelings of anger can make relationships and situations worse. Our groups aim to discover the underlying emotions, help process them, and effectively manage them in healthy ways.

Healing Anger with Mindfulness
Healing Anger with Mindfulness is a group that utilizes cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) to allow for processing the root pain of anger, as well as current contributing factors. Our group is 12-week program that will assist in understanding anger, it’s challenges, and ways to effectively manage emotions. A safe place will be supported by all group members to allow for learning and growth. Each week we will gain insight on topics like exploring myths about anger, growing healthy interpersonal relationships, and building awareness by identifying what is important in our lives.
We offer offer group counseling at one of our Canton OH (near Akron, North Canton, and Massillon) facilities. We also offer virtual group counseling to all residents in the United States.
