COUNSELING GROUPS
Our counseling groups for youth are beneficial in assisting them through difficult times and in finding hope through peer support. Our youth face many challenges such as adapting to school, figuring out their identity, and dealing with stress. Healthy connections with peers are vital at all ages and stages of life, and contribute to both understanding and resilience.
This therapy group will provide a space for pre-teen’s (aged 11-14) to come together learn tools, resources, and differences within the realm of social skills
Through a New Lens
As pre-teens, the ability to interact with others – whether verbally or non-verbally – in appropriate ways is key to success. The abilities involved with our interactions are known as “social skills” and can include communication, emotional regulation, problem-solving, and active listening. This 12-week, structured group will allow you to learn more about social skills, develop personalized goals, and practice them in a safe space!
Cost: $50/session self-pay (insurance options available)
Day: Tuesdays (bi-weekly)
Format: Virtual
Time: 8pm to 9pm

Empowering our youth against bullying
Warrior Wednesday
Bullying is a nationwide issue. Our group Warrior Wednesday offers a supportive and safe space to help youth aged 9-13 who have experienced bullying. Our group therapy sessions are dedicated to processing their experiences in a peer positive environment where we educate and build skills in assertiveness, empowerment and positive self-talk. Our focus is to model and guide youth in how to appropriately set safe boundaries, and utilize their social support system, in order to prevent the cycle of bullying.
