COUNSELING GROUPS
Women’s groups allow women from different backgrounds to support one another during times of struggle and strength. The counseling groups offered below allow for opportunities for women to engage in growth-fostering connections for healing, empowerment, health, and wellness.
For mothers who are struggling with postpartum depression and anxiety
Bloom: A Postpartum Support Group
This group warmly invites mothers experiencing postpartum depression and anxiety to find solace in our safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space. Our sessions delve into essential topics such as coping tools, self-care practices, what to expect, essential questions to pose to your healthcare provider, fostering communication with your partner, building a secure attachment with your baby, and embracing the healing process. In this shared experience, we recognize the profound importance of banding together on the rollercoaster ride of motherhood. As we unite, we create an opportunity for each of us to “bloom” into something truly beautiful.

For women who have experienced intimate partner violence
Her Voice (Section 1 of 2)
Her Voice is a supportive space for women to connect to others, be validated, and work through the trauma experienced from abusive relationships. This ongoing group will provide support in understanding essential topics like: residual impact of intimate partner violence, self-sabotaging when meeting new people, and ways to allow love in their life. This group will promote self-love, recognize strengths and share hope with each other for healthy interpersonal relationships for the future.

A group for single moms
The Motherhood Den
The Motherhood Den is a supportive haven for single moms to share both joys and challenges. This group will provide a secure, confidential, and empathetic environment where mutual learning and sharing occur. Our group therapy sessions are dedicated to exploring the identity of being a single mom, finding ways to promote wellness and balance, learning new parenting skills, challenging negative self-talk and stigma surrounding single parenthood, and using new coping skills and resources that promote a sense of empowerment. You are not alone – come join the Den!

For Women of Color working to heal, to grow, and to connect with others to process the impact of oppression
Women of Color
Women of Color offers a supportive space for women grappling with professional and personal struggles related to their race and intersecting identities. This group fosters a secure, confidential, and empathetic environment where mutual learning and processing can occur. Our group therapy sessions are dedicated to understanding generational racial trauma, working through that grief and providing education on ways to uplift, heal, and improve overall well-being. Understanding that pervasive oppression exists, we can gain the knowledge and support necessary to work towards building better futures for ourselves and our families.
